Online Ivy League DegreesSearching for Online Ivy League Degrees?

Many students have the ultimate dream of obtaining their degree from an Ivy League school. The prestige, social elitism, and devotion to academic excellence opens many doors for graduates from their hallowed halls. However, what if you don’t live on the east coast? Are there other options? Can you earn online Ivy League degrees?

E-learning is more popular than ever before, and Ivy League schools are slowly coming around to this way of thinking. The current trend has been toward a hybrid of online and campus based degree programs. However, there are a few schools that offer 100 percent online degree programs.

Cornell – Cornell University has a subsidiary of the school called eCornell. You cannot earn a degree through the program. They do offer many professional development certificates that focus on preparing adults to move from middle to upper management positions. They offer online certificate programs in hospitality management and restaurant revenue management.

University of Pennsylvania – Penn may not offer many undergraduate programs, but their graduate offerings through the Wharton School of Business are intense. Their MBA program has the exact same requirements as their revered campus based program giving it the same prestige. It is quite pricy, however, and will require some campus based residencies.

Listed above are just a few of the Ivy League online offerings. If you find that the traditional Ivy League does not offer an online program to suit your needs. You may want to look into the public Ivy League as well.
