Dartmouth Ivy LeagueSearching for Dartmouth Ivy League school?

Choosing a college is a decision that plagues many high school students and their parents. It is a decision that is not to be taken lightly because it will have a great impact on the rest of your life. One college that is sure to be at the top of the list is Dartmouth.

Dartmouth is one of the eight elite Ivy League schools and is the smallest of the eight with an average enrollment of just 4,100. It was founded in 1769 by Reverend Eleazar Wheelock and is considered the nation’s ninth oldest school. The school is located in a rural area of New Hampshire. Therefore, it is considered a predominantly residential school.

In 2004, after two centuries of existence and overcoming struggles, the college was voted one of the world’s “most enduring institutions” by Booz Allen Hamilton. The school continues to evolve and continually improve to this day. It has the nation’s fourth oldest medical school, the very first graduate school of management in the world, and the nation’s first school of engineering.

Due to the rural location of the school, many students are involved in sports or clubs. There are over 200 student organizations, including the oldest collegiate outdoors club and the oldest university newspaper.

Dartmouth’s traditions run deep and wide. Students take great pride in their school and was noted in the Princeton Review as having the “happiest students”.  So, if you are looking for a great school with stellar academics, look no further than Dartmouth.
