Any student in America have heard the term Ivy League. Technically, the term refers to an athletic conference with 8 member schools. These schools are private institutions that grant college degrees. They are all located in the Northeastern part of the United States.

With online or distance learning, it is now possible for you to earn a degree from any of the reputable schools mentioned above.

Not all of the Ivy League schools offer online education, though. You will also be hard pressed to find a complete degree offering from those that do offer online learning. But since online education seem to become more and more common these days, it is only a matter of time before these Ivy League schools offer complete programs online, too. They might be stickler for hundred-year old traditions but they also need to ride with the new waves in education.
